An award-winning writer, historian and an Adjunct Professor with the University of Queensland, Jackie French AM has penned books in almost every genre and for readers of all ages - from picture books and junior fiction through to blockbuster historical novels, poetry and nonfiction. She is a columnist for The Canberra Times and a passionate public speaker who has delivered enthralling talks to audiences around Australia.
Having accidentally discovered that she adores mentoring through volunteering with the University of Queensland, Jackie is available to work with writers ready to take their craft to the next level. Whether you have a half a novel in your bottom drawer, poems that need punch, can’t get the hang of essay writing or have a family history to explore, Jackie is excited to help you find the best way to tell your story.
Only one ‘mentoree’ will be accepted at a time, so you’ll have her focus for as long as it takes, as well as the opportunity to head back for advice on contracts and submissions.
Jackie’s coaching rate starts at $200/hour.
