She has been banished from the city to a remote area and a murdered girl lands on her doorstep ... Danielle has always been 'linked' to others so when her links were cut and she was banished from the city it was a shock in more ways than one. Danielle Forest, Virtual Engineer, was looking forward to spending some quiet time with her lover, in their stone house in the Outlands. The City has called on Danielle Forest, Virtual Engineer, to find the source of a new influenza epidemic that is infecting the City and threatening the Outlands. The disease partially kills, and those affected become zombies intent on killing all around them.
